What is Direct Connect?

  Direct Connect is a way to connect people to God and connect

  people to people. 

  A Direct Connect group is a small gathering of eight to fourteen   

  people, usually meeting in homes.

  These groups are made up of people like you who are looking for a 

  way to become more like Christ.

  What happens at a Direct Connect meeting?

  Direct Connect is a safe place to ask questions, build friendships and 

  experience mutual care and support.

  A typical meeting includes Bible study, fellowship, prayer and

  refreshments.  Most groups meet once or twice per month for one or

  two hours per gathering.

  Our groups are designed to encourage life-changing discussion and

  engage each person in the process.

  Direct Connect groups provide the opportunity to deepen your walk

  with Christ and to develop meaningful relationships with others.

  Why should I join a Direct Connect Group?

• You'll begin to understand the Bible better in a small group setting- there is nothing like the chance to ask questions.
• You'll feel like you're part of God's family- not just a face in the crowd.
• Prayer will become more meaningful for you - your friends will be praying for you and with you.
• You'll be able to handle stress and pressure better - when your friends are there for you, life is a very different experience.

  How do I get connect-ed?

  Our groups are open to all friends, members and neighbors of Moline

  Baptist Church.

  The only qualifications needed are a willingness to meet regularly and

  to show love and respect to your fellow group members.
